LESS GUESSWORK. A CLEARER DISPOSAL BUDGET.
Yard waste, branches and wood: disposal planning
Keep natural yard material, construction wood and mixed garbage distinct.

Ask about the actual material
Describe branches, stumps, soil, sod and lumber separately. Acceptance limits may depend on branch diameter, contamination, treatment and packaging. A yard-waste program does not automatically cover all wood.
Compare sorting with another trip
Ask whether separated material qualifies for a different stream and whether mixing it changes the rate for the entire load. Any extra trip has its own transport cost and potentially a minimum charge.
Coordinate with the tree-work quote
If a tree-care contractor already includes hauling, do not add a separate disposal budget again. Ask whether logs, branches, stump chips and cleanup are included, and who owns the remaining material.
