Our editorial standards
Sources, corrections, commercial transparency and what we do not claim.
Evidence before claims
Our editorial purpose is to help readers compare the full cost and scope of a disposal decision. Official facility and municipal sources take priority for charges, acceptance and eligibility. Census data identifies a locality; it cannot verify a dump, current tariff or provider market.
A source summary identifies the material, customer category, applicable rule, link and review date. A source-check date records a review, not a promise that a fee is still current. Where research is missing or ambiguous, we disclose the gap instead of assigning a neighbouring city’s rate.
We distinguish a sourced rate from a worked example and from a user-entered quote. A calculator result is only as useful as its inputs. Minimums, thresholds, taxes, rounding, deposits and excluded services are treated explicitly where relevant to the model.
How content and tools are prepared
Luanderson develops the tools and organizes the source material. Reusable templates and AI assistance support drafting and coding. Geographic relationships are computed offline; they are not observations from local visits. The methodology explains the data edition and calculation limits.
Before a rate is used in a preset, its scope and threshold behaviour must be checked against the cited source. An editorial summary and a working formula are separate components: changing the text alone must not be presented as updating the calculator.
Credentials, first-hand experience, reviews, facilities and service claims must be supported. We do not create testimonials or ratings for pages that have no such evidence. A related-project mention identifies common ownership.
Corrections and substantive updates
Report an error through the contact page with the page URL, locality or facility, affected statement and an official source where possible. Do not include payment details, identity documents or an unredacted personal waste manifest.
A confirmed correction is applied to the affected text and, where relevant, the data or formula. Substantive editorial changes receive an updated date; source-review dates change only when that source is reviewed again. We can clarify a disputed interpretation without claiming that it has been independently settled.
We do not publish your identity or contact message as a testimonial without your permission. There is no guaranteed response time or emergency service.
